According to Adobe Digital Insights, new records were set this year with$3.34 billion spent online alone on Black Friday and another $3.45 billion spent online on Cyber Monday. That’s $6.8 BILLION in just 2 days of online sales. Wow. With so many brands participating in Black Friday and Cyber Monday, how does one stand out?

Throughout the month of November 2016, Origami Logic tracked over 250 major brands, across four platforms — Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. We then used our platform’s search and tagging capabilities to find marketing messages specifically related to Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Of the 250 top brands tracked, some including Amazon, McDonald’s, Nordstrom and Under Armour, 125 participated in Black Friday/Cyber Monday social promotions.
